Speaking from personal experience, these seem to be complete crap. I tried them a few months ago, but forgot about the produce for about a month, so I guess that didn't really work (green pepper puddles, etc)... Anyways, I bought lots of produce while I was a bachelorette for a few days, and then left for vacation, so I decided to give them a try. They say that if there is moisture in the bags you're supposed to dry it out, but I decided to risk it. I was gone from Wednesday morning until Sunday night, and most of the produce had been bought on Monday. I put mangos, a cantalope, tomatoes, and bananas in seperate bags. When I came back, I found that the tomatoes and cantalope were COMPLETELY ROTTEN, and there was no moisture at all in the bags!! The mangos looked fine, and the bananas were still fresh and crisp looking like in the picture. The next morning, I took a banana to work and noticed that the peel was pretty soft. I started to eat it mid-morning, and it tasted ANCIENT. Like, beyond banana bread ancient. It was nasty. The mangos still looked all right, so I brought one to work and put it in my drawer, and forgot about it. Maybe it was the timing, but I opened my drawer and found a mango puddle in there. It seemed like if anything, it either makes unnatural looking, or it actually speeds up the rotting process (the cantalope had pink spots on it, what the bip was that about?!). So, don't waste your money. Shop often for produce, and DON'T be a spaz and forget about it, and you will be just fine!

Good advice, B. I always wondered about those. Now I know I won't waste money on them. Sorry you had to learn the hard way!
Thanks B, for the help in making vegies and fruit rotten. We don't need more information on that subject as we do just fine with out trying. I have to clean out the veggie drawer every so often to get rid of the pepper puddles and hairy tomatoes and squichy celery.
Wow I actually like them. They worked for me. Not for a long time but definitely kept my fruits and veggies fresher. Sorry you had a tough time.
